Warren is a business lawyer. He helps corporations, business partnerships and small business owners innovatively and effectively solve their legal problems without resorting to lawsuits. Warren’s advice is helpful when starting a new venture, changing a business structure, merging with or acquiring another business and borrowing money. Warren’s focus is international business law. He helps business clients avoid legal problems when buying and selling internationally.

Warren also supports GMA's condominium law team by lending a hand when condos need assistance with business issues.  Among other things, Warren helps condos negotiate and document their deals with new property management companies, telecommunications providers, renovation contractors and other suppliers.   Warren will also be brought in to assist on the unique challenges facing commercial condominiums and condominiums that are mixed-use commercial and residential. 

Warren has a passion for international law and globalization. He is an executive member of the Ontario Bar Association’s International Law Section and has co-chaired OBA programs in international business. He also teaches a course on legal aspects of international trade at Centennial College. Warren is the co-author of the book Africa’s Blessing, Africa’s Curse: The Legacy of Resource Extraction in Africa and has been involved with Canadian Lawyers for International Human Rights (CLAHIR) since law school.

Practising law since 2003, Warren has a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from the University of Toronto where he studied business law and the international law of trade, business, environment and human rights. He also graduated summa cum laude from McMaster University. At McMaster he obtained an Honours Bachelor of Commerce (Hon. B.Comm) where he majored in Information Systems and Technology and minored in International Justice and Human Rights.

When he is not practicing law, Warren is at home with his wife and their cat "Yoda".
